Around the world the popularity of chicken is growing. Consumers of all ages are attracted to its nutritional benefits – high in protein and low in fat – and its value for money. Its versatility suits modern lifestyles and provides exciting new marketing opportunities for processors and retailers. Today’s broiler breeder has to cater for the exacting demands of processors, retailers and consumers as well as meeting the requirements of breeder flock owners, hatcheries and broiler growers. It must have the genetic ability to perform well in different climates and countries. And as breeding stock is at the very start of the food chain, it must conform to the highest health standards.

As one of the world’s oldest established breeders and with close links through the food chain, Cobb is in a unique position to satisfy these demands. Cobb’s international headquarters, located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, is in the heart of the world poultry industry. It is here that one can see that quality of both product and service are the cornerstones of our company and the reasons for our continued growth.

Cobb broiler breeding stock is now benefiting from five years of major investment in research and development at four separate full pedigree complexes across Missouri, Oklahoma and Kentucky. Our expansion of breed comparison testing reaffirms our commitment to the continued improvement of our existing breeds, as well as the development and testing of new genetic lines.
